Classes
Do you ever worry you’re not teaching the “right” way?
Do you suffer from “Theory Imposter Syndrome?”
. . .
I never understood theory…until I needed to write it.
. . .
I was never taught how to teach…….until I had the opportunity to focus on teaching methods instead of just course content.
. . .
As a designer I didn’t understand what it meant to have my own research interests…and now I’ll never look back.
. . .
I love to pass multi-disciplinary inquisitiveness and methods on teaching and scholarship on to others through workshops that use a combination of curiosity, confidence, and irreverence to mine current practice and “game changer” scholarship across fields.
Workshops will run based on interest - registration will be confirmed before the start date. Payments will be due after registration is confirmed. A limited number of sliding scale spaces are available upon request.

More classes are in the works!
Other courses include: Epistemic Disobedience, Fashion Theory Intensive, Writer’s Workshop
Potential future classes include: textile archaeology & feminist anthropology, gender studies & queer theory, and craft & material culture theory.
Classes will always be for working professionals who want to return to, brush up on, or encounter new writings in critical texts, or new techniques in teaching & scholarship.
